The founder and Executive Director of By His Stripes Wellness Center (BHS), Eugenia Faye Marshall, MBA is a dedicated and committed servant leader and community advocate with over 30 years of lived and worked experience in HIV/AIDS.  Serving the community in the field of Public Health, Ms. Marshall is recently retired from her role as Chief Operations Officer with Quality Comprehensive Health Center. 

Ms. Marshall has worked with disenfranchised populations including women, children, and families whose lives have been gravely impacted by social determinants of health. It is her life’s mission and ministry to aide in advocating for vulnerable populations by creating culturally sensitive programming, resources, and services to help improve their physical, mental, and emotional health. Her ultimate goal is to aid in the enhancement and improvement of the quality of life for those individuals in the communities she serves.

In addition to working with the non-profit organizations, Ms. Marshall also actively participates in local and regional planning bodies. She has been involved in the Mecklenburg County TGA Ryan White Planning Body participating on various committees. She is also a member of the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) Planning Body and the Mecklenburg Prep Initiative Committee. Ms. Marshall feels it is important for consumers to have a seat at the table and be included in decision making when advocating for resources and services for marginalized communities. She aims to empower those most impacted by health disparities to lift their voices and take part in creating sustainable change.
